the Baton Rouge area · Since 2009

We were here in 2016.

Most of this crew worked the August flood. It is the reason we do things in the order we do them, and the reason we are careful about what we promise.

What that year taught us

That the people who lost the most were usually the ones who cleared up fastest. Sofas, carpet, cabinets and paperwork went into skips before anyone photographed them, and the claims that followed were far smaller than the losses.

That contractors arrived from four states away offering to “handle the insurance” in ways that were not legal, and that a lot of homeowners signed things they had not read while standing in a wet hallway.

And that the single most useful thing anybody did in the first 24 hours was take photographs. It costs nothing and it is worth more than everything else on this page.

What we will not do

Photograph your damage for advertising. Promise you a payout. Test our own mold clearance. Pull drying equipment before the reading says it is dry because the schedule says it should be.

We are licensed by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors and we are an IICRC Certified Firm. You are welcome to check both before you let anyone into your home, and after 2016 we would rather you did.

If it's happening right now, call. Don't fill in a form.
