Highwater

Water damage is a clock, not a mess.

Drywall wicks moisture upward for days after the water is gone. We measure what you cannot see and dry the structure, not just the floor.

What the work involves

  • Make safe and stop the source
  • Standing water extracted
  • Moisture mapped through walls and subfloor
  • Air movers and dehumidifiers set to a drying plan
  • Readings logged daily until dry
  • Photographic record for your claim
Industrial air movers and a dehumidifier drying an emptied residential room with baseboards removed.

Why Baton Rouge dries slowly

Ambient humidity here works against you. In a drier climate a structure gives up its moisture to the surrounding air; in a Louisiana August that air is already close to saturated, which is why dehumidification matters more here than air movement.

It is also why a floor that feels dry underfoot on day two is not dry. The reading is what matters, and we log it daily so you can see the curve rather than take our word for it.
